Just picked up an old Bondini "W Parker" flintlock rifled pistol that needs some work. Somebody tried to remove the breechplug without removing the vent lined so I have a tang broken off the plug. Flintlock hammer is broken and a bit of wood is missing from the stock in front of the lock. I want to convert it to percussion to be legal for competition but haven't decided the best appproach. My preference would be to find a replacement lock rather than convert the original flintlock. Any suggestions on teh breechplug issue and lock dilemma?

If you have all of the parts to the breech plug you can have it welded back, and with some clean up work have it back the way it was, or you can create a small step and silver solder or weld a new tang on the old plug by basically removing the thickness of metal(that you will be using) from the top of the tang.

For the lock pictures and measurements would be helpful. :v
