I just got the greenlight to order a kibler Woods Runner or Colonial. I know the benefiets of ordering one and assembling it myself, but I’m not against buying a Colonial already assembled and redoing it to my liking, I say the Colonial simply because I think it will be a while before a Woods Runner comes up for sale. Well anyhow, im super excited to get either.. but until I get it I can work/ practice on my Jackie Brown Fowler that still is getting “ tweaked and debugged”

Just a suggestion, but if you’re reasonably close to Kibler's I'd make a trip there and handle both to see which one fits you best. Unless you've already had a chance to do so. Hard to go wrong with either.
I’m about 4 hours away, I may still do that though, that’s a really good suggestion.

That could be costly.

You'll come home with BOTH. :thumb::ghostly:

Just putting that out there! You're welcome.
Ha!!! I doubt that would happen! I’ve had the money several times to get a kibler… but stuff just came up, car needed tires, medical bills, just life in general, knowing this, my wife was secretly saving money up for me, for my Christmas present. She would have ordered it herself, but wasn’t sure what I wanted. I told her not to worry about that, I wasn’t sure myself.. lol the money is there and that’s what counts!

before you buy a Colonial, go and pick up 9 pounds of lead and hold it in your hand, that way you can get a feel for what that thing weighs,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
No way would that be a comparable test!
I won a .54 cal. Colonial in a raffle and already had a .58 cal. kit. I picked up the new beautifully finished Colonial by Andy Thomas and immediately knew it wasn't a .58 by the extra weight: however both balance beautifully; and neither one is unwieldy,

oh yea they do balance well, but still 9 pounds! and they are accurate! i have shot one my friend has. if you are shooting it off a bench, or offhand a few times, they are ok. but i am a hunter as well, and no way i would want to drag that around the woods all day. like my pappy said, you tote one more that you shoot one,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
