Well, I had commitments for saturday, but made it out to see the vendors, went back out on sunday to shoot the rifle and pistol trails and have my son (15) do the hawk and knife trail, since he likes that event.
Mind you, this was his first rondy, and doesn't shoot his rifle with as much enthusiasm as I do.
Well, in a nutshell, met up with a forum member, nice guy, not enough time for either of us, we will deal with that later. My pistol trail sucked from my known capabilities, my rifle was worse. Now back to my son...
turns in a nice score, much better than mine, wins his division of 15 to 18 year olds, gets a nice custom medal, FIRST pick off the blanket.
Am I bragging??? heck yes! wouldn't you!
He's hooked now!
anyways, it was a great rondy. you should all attend when out this way...yamhill oregon, memorial day weekend....every year.

Congratulations to your son.
It's really great that you two can share something together. Those memories will last forever.
And Big John was right, there's nothing wrong with bragging about your children. Great job.
