I'm new to BP guns, and already I can see the addiction taking root. Here's what I made yesterday afternoon, nothing special, just a ball starter. I guess I could have bought one, but this was fun to make! The antler came from a skull my son found, the brass tip is a piece of plumbing I re-shaped and epoxied to the dowel. I made the indentions with a 1/2" half-round(?)router bit, chucked in the drill press. I gave it a few coats of spar urethane and called it good.

A good starting place and a good start.

Now hang on tight as the addiction takes hold and spreads :rotf:

I've been eyeballin the pile of four and six point antlers out in the shed wonderin what kind of crafty thing I could make withem. You have pointed me in a direction for at least one section.

Nice work. You might consider hollowing out the one end for a powder measure as well. One less item to carry around. :idunno:
