made one the other day out of brass hex probably wont shoot it as its only a .32 i just made it for fun. i have shot some blanks out of it though.

You sure have it better than poor Volatpluvia did. That poor guy had to file his gonnes out by hand. :grin: Check the one he did out of brass HERE . This beautiful gonne has been in my collection for the last several years. I bought it from Volat just before he left to do missionary work in Mexico. It's a .60 bore, and with a 25gr. charge of FFg, a .595. ball, and some wadding to hold the ball in place is lots of fun. I wouldn't worry too much about shooting a brass gonne, as long as large grain powder and small charges are used to keep pressures down. It's up to you, of course. :thumbsup:
