I decided a while back I needed a horn, long story short I managed to purchase a couple of second hand horns from a gentleman.

One is a TOTW horn and does its job nicely. The other horn, to me is a beauty.

It was built by Rick Lorenzen as a F&I repo. I'm told the spout is an original Dixon and from a shotgun flask.

No real point to the thread, I just love my horn and wanted to share some photos.

But if anyone has a contact for Rick I'd love to speak with him to learn more about it.

That is spectacular. Was the map from your inspiration?
Nah, as I said I got it second hand. I'm trying to find contact details for the maker so I can ask him about it.

The theme centres around the F&I war and Lake George. An ode to the original Dixon spout from that era. But I have no solid information.

I got that it was a reproduction but I wondered if you’d been any of those places and that was the inspiration. I could’ve explained that or just read more closely.

Te history is enough for me. That horn would be celebrated in this home for sure.

I'm so bad at most things that need building that I never put any "scratchings" on anything. Those two horns are wonders to my old eyes!
