my neck of the woods

I am new to this BP. Only had one other experience with it before I started building this kit I am working on. That experience would have made alot of people quit. I always been told I was hard headed! Any way I am looking for BP events and or club in my area. To talk with and look into. My neck of the woods would be N.W. Florida. More specific Milton, Fl. Old spelling on that would have been Milltown. Anybody out there know anything about this area? :grin:

First off I recommend that you join the NMLRA. They have a listing of charter clubs with names locations and dates that will be a big help in finding a local club. The NMLRA has a good website for finding out a lot of that information.

Secondly, I recommend that you subscribe to Smoke and Fire News. [url] www.smoke-fire.com[/url] They list every reenactment in the country from Medieval to WWI and WWII. If you can't find something interesting near you I'd be really surprised.

Thirdly the Alafia rendezvous just ended yesterday it was held just north of Fort Meade. It is one of the best rendezvous ( or so I am told ). Be ready for it next year. Just type in Alafia Rendezvous into your search engine and their website will pop up.
