This type "mid grade quality" European flintlock shotgun in America is not rare, but the bayonet to fit on this flint double barrel type gun is VERY UNUSUAL! ( bayonets on percussion double barrel shotguns were used by confederate soldiers in our Civil War). Can you show a photograph with the bayonet mounted on the barrels to show how it is secured in place?

Flint hunting bayonets for single barrel boar rifles are more common, as shown by my photo

I saw a gentleman from Colorado use an original French 14 bore double flintlock at the RRR Shotgun Soiree a few years back.

We watched him break 25 birds straight, then 25 more in a tiebreaker, then dropped a bird and won with 24 birds the next day.

The comb has so much "gingerbread" I don't know how he shot it.

Danke, ja dind sogar noch welche zu verkaufen!
