I got my new 2 1/2" belt/buckle combo in today. I punched all my holes and im just kind of lost on where i should cut the belt at. Any clue how much leftover i should allow? I was thinking 2" would be fine. Any input on this?

On second thought, i will leave 8" left over and make a belt loop. I forgot all about my wool coat. Thats going to require extra belt to go around.

Also my green river knive and brass studded sheath i bought at the Santa Fe trail Rendezvous in Raton New mexico.

Hey Kentuck,
If you choose to wear yer pouch that low ya may want to consider wearing yer belt over the pouch straps. Most folks usually wear the pouch and horn a bit higher. Bend yer elbow and that is about where the top of yer pouch should ride. Just a suggestion. :hatsoff:
