Some of you know of a beat up 1858 Rem .44 that I rescued. The old dog is going to need new nipples. I am looking for recommendations as to the best ones to get, I have not bought any in decades. It is a Pietta (or however you spell it).

I like the Uncle Mikes stainless. The gun works has them.
I just picked up a set of stainless ones from totw to replace originals. Believe I ordered the .319 lengths. Also hold a #11 cap with almost no squeezing. Seem to work fine but haven’t shot them a ton. I was wanting slixshots at the time but they didn’t have any then. Probably in stock now though. Jmho
