worked a trade for a horn with Scott,(41aeronca) he needed a bag and a second strap for his hunting partner, I admired a horn I saw on the forum.....
So I made him a "GoldHunter" double pouch with buckskin lid and "scottish" lining with a complimenting red wool card woven strap, right hand carry. he also got a card woven strap that didnt have a home to put on an alligator bag.

Hey Brett, that looks good! I'll have to hurry and get that horn done now. Also get that strap attached to Sarah's aligator bag...

scottish lining? just curious. Nice bag, love the strap.

A plaid lining, more like a kilt type pattern!
the Morrison's are more of a "low lands" clan!
(did I get that right Scott?)

love the strap? wanna make your own?? PT me, I can send you the destructions!

That's what I've been told. Met a frail old Scottish lady in Victoria, BC, once. So frail, she would probably blow away in a small breeze. When we mentioned our last name she said "Och, yer just a low lander".

Brett,
Came out real nice. You did a fine job on weaving that strap. Very nice outfit for sure.

Nice Bag!

its amazing what you can do with real heavy canvas, some buckskin and a nice pattern from "GoldHunter".
makes a nice double pouch. Not too big, not too small....Not too soft, not too firm, Just right!
perfect these then burn up some good leather...maybe

I appreciate every one's comments and I pray to god that Scott likes it! Hoping he moves into it this coming saturday for a trail walk!

Oh I'll definately "move" into it this Saturday! I just hope that Brett decides to give it to me. I'm not quite done with my part of the trade (a horn)... :(
