I am sure I did post this, but it dissappeared mysteriously.

This is my homemade powderhorn.

Thanks Bernie. :grin: It was made from a Nguni cow horn and it has a wild olive base plug and Blesbuck horn spout stopper.
 
Thanks man! I started with a new horn yesterday, since it was a public holiday. :grin: The new one will have a little more to it than this one. I got some brass furniture for it from Track of the wolf. Will also do a little scrimshawing on it and add a strap which I won at our previous rendevoux.
 
Looks great, must give a good feeling of accomplishment to make your own accouterments from local materials. :v
 
Indeed. Started with the sanding of a second smaller bag horn over the weekend. I am starting to turn into a real Horner. :youcrazy: :haha: :rotf:
