This photo was a collection a previous major construction company owner had. When I saw this display in the companies office I asked the owner for info and permission to photograph. It was a long time ago, but it seems to me he said he paid $1000.00 for the lot. That seems way low, but that is what I am remembering. At that time I had no idea about value. Anyway, I was led to believe the doubles were also of French making. The owner has passed about 8 years ago, but I would not be surprised if this collection is still in the office.
BTW my father was one of the companies main finish carpenters. Those Walnut gun supports are the way he liked to make them. Boy, do I miss him!
