Three of those items I've made but I haven't tried journey cakes.

I used the recipe that Townsends had on Youtube. I made it much smaller, about one cup. They turned out excellent. Probably because of the butter and molasses.

Looks good! How will you carry these provisions? I have hardtack made, I enjoy it broken up in tomato soup and it is tolerable in tea. I want to make some pemmican this year as well. Thanks for sharing!
