Hello,
I have for sale an Antonio Zoli Reproduction Model1863 Remington Zouave .58 in very good to excellent condition. Clean, shiny bore with pronounced rifling. The bluing is about 95%, the case hardening is a little worn, The brass butt-plate / patch box, trigger guard, upper / lower bands, and nose cap have a little wear; and the stock is excellent. The peep sight system was installed by a competent gunsmith and comes with 4ea additional inserts for the front sight. I had the sight replaced due to the original rear sight being canted. I am including (5ea) addition musket nipples, and leftover .575213 , .577" Parker and Hale, and .579 Burton Minie' balls. They all shoot well but the rifle shines with the 575213 w/45gr of FFg. 575.00 shipped... The projectiles will be shipped separately. PM or email with any questions. Thanks for looking...

The nipple is merely bronze colored, not made found bronze. Ampco nipples are made from a beryllium alloy which has a tensile strength of 118,000 psi. Much tougher than steel, let alone soft bronze.

We used AMCO plates for gliding way surfaces on machining slides gibe's at work. Very tough to tool material .
