I am looking at getting a blackpowder shotgun to hunt turkey
with and want to get a side by side.I was wondering if anyone could tell me about the quality of this gun to
hunt with.I am new to this blackpowder thing so any advise
will be appreciated thank you. :hmm:

I bought one of these earlier this year, and mine is a fine shotgun. I have not had time to shoot it yet, but the quality is definatly there. Get ya one!

I got a .12ga SxS Navy Arms a year ago...so far, I've only had a chance to try it on doves a few time but it works fine.

I've had a Navy Arms double barrel .12 ga for about 5 years now. I have used it for everything from dove and quial to ducks, geese, jackrabbits and cottontails. I also shoot round balls out of it. At 25 yds mine will shoot a 4 shot (2 from each barrel) group that is one big hole. I use it with the special plastic steel shotcups for steel shot for waterfowl. I have fired thousands of shots through it with no problems at all. Mine has both barrels cylinder bore.

I have owned a Navy Arms 12 guage SxS for over 15 years. It is a good solid gun. I've only used it on doves. With 1 3/8 oz # 8 shot and an equal amount of 2F, it will drop doves at 30 yards with the cylinder bore. I have some old Pyrodex RS that works will also, its a great gun to get rid of the stuff.

I have the Pedersoli 10 ga. with modified and improved cyl. Got a big (10" beard) gobbler last March. Had a Navy Arms Turkey and Trap model (full & full). Could not get it to pattern no matter what!

I have a 10 ga.& 20 ga. Pedersoli from Cabela's they are both made well and a dream to shoot. I don't see them listed in Cabela's Catalogs any more dose anyone know why? :winking: Rocky

Got my Navy 12 ga s/s used about 12 yrs. ago for $100 .
Have shot it a lot, mostly trap shoots. Shoots great.
