Yea Rick, im not a big hangy down fan myself, But it needed something, It looked naked!

Cliff, I used leather dye, and buffed it back to show the lighter color. Tung oil finish.

So - neck knives seem to be a standard with the buckskinners. Is it primarily intended as a patch knife?

I really like the wood on that blade, it just smartens the whole effort right up. Well done!

I feel its not necessarily a patch knife, just a all purpose, easy to get to knife. That's the way i see it.
