I was gifted this from a family member..it belonged to at least my great grandfather..and maybe even my great great grandfather
Best I can tell it's a .38 caliber
I'm confident the lock is a Golcher, but not sure which Golcher, and looks to not be original to the gun
The markings on the barrel looks like (Greg or Gray) (Branford or Bradford) (Gaines) Nashville Tennessee warranted
I did a search but am drawing a blank on the gun maker..
My family in the early 1800s were from the mid Tennessee area
