Good evening all and Happy Independance Day tomorrow!

I have a Royland Southgate rifle that appears to have a .390 bore. I plan on shooting it a little.

I'm looking for some .380-.385 roundball to try.

I've checked Speer and Hornady and the closest I've found are .375.

Do any of you know where I could find a few .380-.385's for her?

Best regards, Skychief.

Happy Independence Day!

Here is a link for Lee. See the mould and SKU for .380:

Also, there is an outfit out of Texas someplace (maybe San Antonio) that makes custom round ball and conical moulds in any caliber you can think of. Cannot recall their name, but maybe someone on the forum here will. Once upon a time, I was considering a smooth bore from Loyalist Arms out of Canada, and it came in an odd-ball caliber. I found those Texas folk's web site, and spoke to them on the phone... very nice people.

Good Luck on finding exactly what you need.

Thanks wattlebuster and Mountain Ranger. I'm just wanting to get my hands on a few rb as I don't plan to shoot the rifle enough to warrant a mould.

Much appreciated guys, Skychief :hatsoff:

The bore actually measures .40 upon closer inspection

I found a baker's dozen .390 balls and shot the Southgate with those today.

It's a little sweetie and a keeper for sure.

I will be getting a mould for the rifle now.

Best regards, Skychief
