I need a couple of bricks of RWS pistol caps.
Only ones that work right in my old armys.
I have searched the web and found DIXE GUN works at >5$ a hundred, surely there are better buys out there.
I know there is a hazmat fee and plan on buying a few years supply
thanks

Try Deer Creek,765 525 6181 I got a 1000 about a year ago for 35 or 36 plus 20 hazmat, hope that helps. FRED :hatsoff:

Check Graf & Sons - good prices and service - I believe they have some.

Mid South Shooter's Supply has 1000 of them for $31.95 I think it is. Of course there is that $20.00 hazmat fee..

If a person bought 2000 of them they might be able to justify the hazmat, especially if the got a few pounds of powder to boot...

The mid south caps are the 1075+, not the plain ole 1075s.

I read that the + models didn't shoot as well, but never tried them myself.

Cayugad, the powder won't help, can't ship caps and powder together..least that's what they say...

I went with mid-south shooters supply, ordered 3000 of them. That will keep shooting for a week or so :rotf:
I can't find them up here and now they tell me UPS isn't handling them, have to go FedEx ground and I have to send to the place I work.
Good think I am well thought of there.
What a pain. If CCI would get it's head out of it's-well you know where- and start making decent primers I would buy American

I was talking to their customer support today. I was always under the impression you could not ship them together also. I guess I better make sure of all this before I place my order.

The worst part is, I talked to a UPS man that brought my last powder order and asked him what different was done with powder, caps, etc. He said, other then two more sheets of paper work, nothing that he was aware of. So what or who gets the hazmat fee?

I noticed that also and checking some of my old plastic tins, they state RWS 1075 plus and I have had great luck with them.

I could always go with the CCI Magnum and they are more cost effective. I've had good luck with the CCI magnum.

I was hoping to sneak some other synthetic powders into the mix because I have a could of sidelocks that just really shoot exceptionally well with that powder.

Good, glad to hear that they work for you.

The cci's just don't work in my old army's. Maybe since I messed with the springs trying to get a lighter trigger pull had something to do with it. :hmm:
But i never had much luck with them in my pieta .36 colt navy or the other italian cap and ball pistols either.
The 1075 plus go off 99% of the time.
i have 800 of the number 10's I would sell you.
That's another story.
Buy an Old army from Ruger and the owners manual said..I needed to use number 10's... I had a heck of a time finding them.
They didn't fit, seems they changed the nipple size, but not the manual :cursing:
that's OK. i have enought to last for a while now.

I used CCI #11 magnums on my Ruger and also on Navy and Army Colt clones, and Remingtons. Also on rifles and my double barrel .12 ga. Never had any problems with them.

well you know, the more I shoot b/p guns the more I think they are like women.
Some things they like and some things they don't.
You just got to find what they like and stick with it.
