First, thanks for looking.

I have been asked to write a story for the state's largest newspaper about traditional muzzleloader hunting. The story will run on the outdoors page of the Sunday sports section.

I am in desperate need of someone who hunts in traditional clothing for a photo. Will also need some good quotes from Oklahoma traditional hunters. I haven't hunted in traditional garb in years--lost mine and never replaced it.

I live in central Oklahoma but will be willing to travel if necessary. Oh, and one last thing, the story will run the Sunday before muzzleloader deer season. Anyone willing to help will be greatly appreciated.

Okay. Perhaps this story is going to have to be about how muzzleloading hunting in Oklahoma has evolved into something else. It may be that we have become a state that is almost entirely in-line and to hell with the traditional guys.

I know that when I go to the gun stores in Oklahoma City there are almost no traditional firearms or supplies available. I sure thought there were at least a few guys like myself who remained traditional...at least where the firearms and loading were concerned.

This is very depressing.
