New 20GA Fowler

I bought this 20GA fowler off of the classifieds recently. It was made Bobby Christian and I couldn't be happier with it. It has a 36" barrel and is very quick handling. Took it to the range this yesterday and it performed perfectly. I figured I would share some photos.

That is a nice looking gun, is it intended to be a smoothrilfe with the rear sight and cheekrest/griprail?. looks like a nice late 18th century piece.

I'm not sure. I'll leave that up to some of the more knowledgeable members of the forum. I know many of the smoothbores didn't have a rear sight. It's probably not that PC. I just intend to use it as a hunting piece for Turkey and Squirrel.

I suspect it is very much PC/HC as rear sights on smoothbores was not uncommon particularly on a smoothie set up for aimimg and not just pointing, once again nice gun, enjoy it,smoothbores are a blast.

Beautiful .60 smooth rifle. That is what them guns were called with rear and front sights and a smoothbore.

Beautifully put together, awesome wood. Something to be very proud of.
