I won the raffle at the Aurora Black Powder Club (Aurora, TX) Spring Rendezvous yesterday. For the cost of 6 tickets for $5.00, my #6 ticket was the winner.

This is a .45 Percussion pistol built by a club member and donated for the raffle:

The builder was not at the raffle so I don't have any details yet on the lock, trigger, barrel, etc. yet. It does have some nice stock and barrel decoration.

I'm glad I didn't leave early.

I talked to the donor. This is a Pedersoli kit that someone had given him some time ago. He was wanting to work on his carving and barrel work and used this kit. Nice result. He has tuned up the lock and trigger for a really nice feel. I need to do the same for my Ped. rifle now that I feel the difference.

Nothing on the barrel gives away the make, but once I pull the lock, I can see the Ped. heritage.

Not especially pretty, but, for the price I'd take her to the dance...

Thanks, I agree. My shooting, hawk throwing, and archery were so poor, this was my only chance at a decent prize.

LOL Well, you deserve it just for posting pictures of it for us. Let us know how it shoots some day soon...
