I have here a 16 ga jug choked smoothbore which has been best described as a New England Fowler.
No dings on the furniture, no rust.
Shoots wonderfully and patterns very well. I have it weighed at 7 lbs.
OAL 59 1/2”
Barrel: 44” 16 ga Jug Choked Colraine
13 7/8” LOP, may be 14
Zorne Lock that throws sparks wonderfully.
Beautiful curly maple stock.
Bright shiney bore.

I was told the builder is Dan Krug from Traverse City Michigan. He used to work with Curley Gestompsky building NW trade guns. No signature. I love this Fowler, but have different priorities at the moment. Will be shipped in a wooden box to ensure safe delivery. $1350 shipped/insured. If paying by PayPal please use friends and fam. I have sold many items on this site. If paying via money order, I won’t ship until I receive payment.

I was gonna say that Donny2guns is a good guy to deal with, but I guess I don't need to, it's already sold.
Anyway, I've bought 2 flintlocks from him, and was pleased with both.

You in NewEngland also? Im in Southern Maine. Would offer a Trade of 5 Gallons of Cabot Deck Stain in trade. looks like you could really use it. Its unavalable at Lowes or Home Depot or anywhere else due to the general supply shortage.
