New England Rifle

I acquired this 30 years ago or more.It had a broken ramrod halfway down the .36 cal bore. The brass tip was against and made a bad spot in the barrel. I sent it to Willy Boytnott in Ohio and he re-bored it to 40 cal. I used to be a muzzleloading instructor for Maine fish + wildlife's Becoming an outdoors Woman program.
This was the percussion range rifle. It's stood in the corner for 15+ years. I took it to an Ancient Ones of Maine GEEZER SHOOT today. I hit 9 out of 10 targets for second place. Yes that is my gravestone, I haven't needed it yet!
