Hey guys, just thought I would share some pics f a new pistol that just arrived in the mail...It all started with a rifle I bought on gunbroker.com. (see the thread "my first flintlock and shes a beauty) After receiving the rifle, I was contacted by the seller and he asked if I would be interested in buying a matching pistol. Made by the same guy, in the same caliber (.45). He said that the two should stay together, and I agreed. And with a meager 250 dollar price tag, it was a no brainer...

You lucked out on that buy.
The pistol seems to have a very nice burl wood on the stock.
Question is" How do they shoot?"
.45 cal today seems to be a forgotten caliber.
.45 cal. is very versatile, good for target, squirrels, deer. And relatively cheap on powder, lead, and recoil.
What more can you ask?
Good luck with your great find.

Really nice pair of flinters, and as others have said, great deal. I just want to remind you to file the builder's name and address, basically all contact info, somewhere.

It just might come in handy someday.

Really nice, the wood on the pistol is especially nice.

I have a friend that used to love the .45 caliber for jump hunting whitetails. He said the rifle was lighter to carry and when he threw it up it was usually a dead deer!
