Figured I should introduce myself before starting in on any conversations. I've been lurking around for awhile. Looks like a good place with tons of info! I'm mostly a western big game hunter. I've been hunting with rifle, bow and muzzleloader. I've recently put down the bow and have decided to muzzleloader hunt more. Can't explain why the muzzleloader intrigues me so much, it just does. I've been hunting with the "other" kind of muzzleloader for the past 10 years and continue to do so for now, but I'm also very interested in hunting with a "traditional" muzzleloader as well. I'm starting with sidelocks for now, possibly flintlock in the future? I've got quite a bit to learn. There's just something about seeing a trophy pic of any western game with a traditional muzzleloader in it! Can't wait to get started! Glad to be here.

:hatsoff: Howdy and welcome.Good ta have ya here.Enjoy your journey into the traditional world.Griz

Welcome to the gang. Would recommend that you do a lot of reading through the previous posts in the different sections to get a good feel for what all is necessary for hunting with muzzleloaders. When you have specific questions or comments, always feel free to jump in with whatever you need!

Welcome to the forum. And don't think about buying one of those new fangle cappy guns they will NEVER catch on.
