Said I would never have another Pedersoli double again, unless it's an early one, when they were made under 6lb and had more drop on the stock!
Well one turned up and apart from the rammer breaking due to short grain and some patina it's a dandy.
Fits like a dream POI is spot on

How old is yours? I just picked up one that was made in 1975.I love the weight and feel of it!Mine had 42 years of filth on it,but cleaned up great.Think it was shot early on and then sat in the gun case for years. Are you using 13 ga. wads on yours? Glad you got one,I think they are nice guns!

Congrats...that's a keeper. Love the hat too...trying to decide on what good mountain man name we need to give you but stuck between Zebulon and Jedidiah! :haha: What kind of outfit you got on Jess? They may help with the decision! :rotf:

I'm giving you bonus points for cutting a sapling to use for a ramrod.. :hatsoff:

That will teach those that are afraid to use a wooden ramrod.... :haha:

Thanks gents, yes a broken rammer ain't going to stop me!
I stashed the broken original in a bush to collect later.
I have glued it! It seems good but!! Plenty of hazel about and a good knife to hand, what's the problem

I envy you the lighter early model. They're night and day to the current boat anchors. And from the picture, it appears to suit you well! Congratulations.
