Hi there,

New to the board. When I was a kid, I liked anything that went "BANG". Got my first BB gun by selling flower seeds from the back of a comic book door to door. From there I was off to the races. Shooting anything and everything.

Time passed. Marriages, jobs, kids, mortgages. Somehow I hunted, shot and fished less and less.

But now the kids are married or in the service, the wives are gone and its time to redevote myself to my favorite passtime.

Regrettably, the guns went with the last wife. When she demanded them in the divorce settlement I went BERSERK! But my lawyer told me "You'll spend more $$$ fighting for them than they would cost to replace"

So I'm also rebuilding my collection.

A .22 WMR and a lever action .357 have found their way to my home so far.

I did a VERY LITTLE bit of muzzleloading back in the mid '90s, but am basically a complete NOOB. So please forgive the many dumb questions I will ask, 'cause I will be posting lots of them.

Look forward to seeing you.

A big Texas howdy to ya! Welcome aboard. :hatsoff:

No worries about the questions. It's the best way to learn, and nobody was born knowing this stuff. Ask away!

Welcome! Now that you are free and unencumbered you should be able to jump right back in to the hobby. Don't worry about questions, we all started out at one time.

Welcome to the Forum 2few, find yourself a percussion rifle to shoot and ask the old timers here for tips. :hatsoff:

It's just stuff, my friend. Enjoy your freedoms and gather your collection. Also, mind the flintlocks. They are damned addictive!
