Just wanted to say hey to everyone. I just recently got my first BP revolver from my wife as a present. It's a 1860 Colt Army Replica. I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet, but have taken it out of my safe numerous times and played with it. Lol. Seems I've had difficulty finding caps and powder for it. Very few places around me stick those items anymore. Mostly what I found was pellets and 209 primers for ,50 cal rifles.
I finally went to Bass Pro Shop and they had everything I needed.
I am a disabled veteran with 15 years of military service. I am married with two children from a previous marriage. I'm a avid shooter and reloader. I work in a steel mill and I do welding and fabricating on the side.
Politically, I'm a conservative. I would like to throw out, I DID NOT VOTE FOR OBAMA, either time, so I'm not responsible for all this mess we are in.
I hope to add a few more BP revolvers to my safe a d I look forward to learning from everyone.
My most favorite guns in my safe are my custom built Rem 700 and my M1A, followed closely by a M1 Garand.
