New guy from Texas

Just joined the forum! I'm in Shiner, Texas via PA. I lived in the Lancaster area for about 40 years. I'm looking to get back into flintlock rifles again. I'm looking for a Pennsylvania rifle in 45 caliber at least. I sold my last flintlock while still in PA and am now only left with cap n' ball revolvers. Going to a local Cabelas tomorrow as I know they have a PA style rifle made by Pedersoli on their rack.

I'm up outside of Smithville and get down your way on occasion...how did you end up in Spotzel land from Pa? Just being nosey! Many moons ago, I used to make the run from Alvin to New Braunfels(actually love made me do it!)by way of Alt. 90 and it was always a treat to go over that rise and see the lovely Catholic church on the hill at Shiner! For all the heathen, Shiner Beer comes form that little town! yee-hah! :hatsoff: :haha:
