A neighbor informed me of some new deer hunting area close by.
There is a lake (approx: 2 miles long by approx: 3/4 mile wide near my home. The city that owns it has a drawing for hunters each year. (This was just started last year). Very few hunters showed up on drawing date. Neighbor took one buck and one doe from his twenty acre assigned area. They allowed only archery last year.
I know this is a muzzle loading forum, but any land open for deer hunting is surely welcomed. Doesn't hurt to be about a mile away either.
