Well, I have been wanting one for a while - and a couple times I got the hides together and the women that were supposed to help me - kicked me to the curb

So, I proceeded to work 5 pretty good sized deer hides, smoke the hides and cut out the pattern and using glover's needles and waxed linen thread I made my hunting frock.

I learned alot and I am pretty happy with it.

Very nice frock. 5 large deer hides has to be heavy- how much does it weigh?

Whohoo, very nice!

Would you mind posting a couple of more pictures (closer)?

Thank you,
Silex

Well, since they are brain-tanned - not much more heavy than my canvas frock

Thank you!
Really nice features - with the cape and everything.

Again :hatsoff:
