Just got my first kit (Lyman GPR .54 percussion). Started putting it together and had a couple issues I couldn't figure out. I posted 2 questions (a couple days apart) and received FANTASTIC feedback within a couple hours (if not sooner). Folks sent me all kinds of really good advice. Someone took 8 or 10 pictures of his Lyman GPR disassembled, drew lines and such all over them, and was able to show me exactly what to look for. How awesome is that?
This is the best forum I've ever been on...thank you everyone.

Glad to have you here. :)

Our forum members, unlike those on many other forum's, won't usually give you the "Ahh. We've talked about that a lot. Go do a search."
Instead, our members are a helpful bunch who will gladly answer any question you have about building or shooting your gun even if it has been asked many times before.

In fact, when you get around to shooting your GPR and ask a question you'll get more answers than you will know what to do with. :D

Welcome to the Forum, Grayson Palmer.

If you need information about black powder activity & supplies, here in the "Tarheel State", start a conversation (AKA "PM") with me and I can fill you in.

Best,
