Hello! So I’ve got this beautiful 7mm pinfire. looking to either have this mainspring repaired or a replacement if anyone has any ideas I would appreciate it looking for someone who can make a front sight as well!

I have one of these old oddballs. Is a family gun. Would like to take it somewhere and get some history on it other than stories I heard as a kid.
 
Mine supposedly belonged to a relative that immigrated from Ireland. He was....let's say operated outside the law? Just stories. I may be wrong, but I thought they were mostly made in Belgium. I remember my pop saying the rounds were more valuable than the gun, they were copper, not brass. I'll take some pictures of it later
 
If you are not going to make your own ammunition and shoot it, I’d just leave it be. Plenty of complete original ones around to make ammo for and plink with. Not too many gunsmiths will want to mess with it.
