ThanksHello there! You have a full range of classic skills.
Thanks
D. Buck Stopshere,
What are the clubs near me in SC? Thanks...tippit
No problem! You have a lot going on there. I took a class in blacksmithing and it was a lot of fun. I'd love to learn how to shoot a recurve bow. Well l probably only have 50 or so bows here. I only hunt with a bow...got a 4 thousand acres lease in South Georgia.
I only hunt with a longbow or recurve. Here at the farm I probably have 50 bows plus I also make some. Normaly I'd be hunting hogs all winter & spring on my 4 thousand acre lease in South Georgia except the Covid 19 has kept me at home in my blacksmith shop.No problem! You have a lot going on there. Problem is I have too many passions...traditional archer, fly fishing, my horses, and forging mostly knives.Welcome from Rackensack, that is an old civil war name for Arkansas. Glad to hear you like blacksmithing, I've done it for a hobby since I was 13, but the Doctors said I could no longer use coal a few years ago, and I gave it up for a while... My friend Ronnie the welder at his local muffler shop just welded a flange on my tuyere that will fit an old English Alcosa cast iron hand cranked blower I rebuilt after a trade, and I will be back in the saddle. Since I have to wear a mask anyway I might as well do what I can. It's been a while, hooray for another blacksmith in our ranks! Watch out for BP gunsmithing, it'll become your second passion, and you will become a man of many talents, LOL! Keep the fires burning and smoke rolling, George.
Thank you, those clubs look promising.I'll start a "conversation" AKA "PM" and give it to ya.
