Hi folks! Just found this forum!

Im from Michigan and have worked in the gun industry for almost a decade now, currently managing a shop, though we don’t do any black powder items.

I’ve been intrigued by history and guns my entire life, and recently learned that my family settled in Pennsylvania in the 1730’s, coming from Germany. This has gotten me crazy interested in getting a flint lock “Kentucky” Rifle, which will hopefully be my first but not last muzzle loader!

hoping to be able to find a decent one on here or somewhere soon, and can’t wait to learn more!

It would be nice if you can find custom made rifle in the style that matches your family history.
