Hey all. My father was a reenactor who passed away a few years ago. About a month ago I pulled out his Charleville with the intent on maybe shooting it with friends, but I’m not particularly knowledgeable on the subject. I’d imagine that it’s a reproduction, but I don’t know if it’s one that’s suitable for live fire or if I should just stick to blanks. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you, I just made another thread in the identification section. I remember the general mechanics of shooting it, but I don’t know the specifics of how to obtain the necessary materials.
