Hi, I’m Steve. I collect old firearms especially anything US war related as I was infantry in the Marine Corps and picked up an appreciation for history.
I happened upon 2 very old brown bess muskets passed to a friend of mine. I wasn’t interested in muzzleloaders much since I know nothing about them but these really grabbed my attention and made me want to learn more.
I posted a thread on firearm identification of original pre 1865 muzzleloaders asking about them. If anyone could help I would very much appreciate it.
Thank you!
