Good morning , I have been lurking for a bit, just now joined.
I've been interested in muzzleloaders for close to 40 years. In high school I became interested in civil war reenacting. My first was a Parker Hale 2 band Enfield (1858?). Then my girlfriend at the time bought me a brass frame 1851 Navy by Pietta. I've had different guns over the years and currently only have an old very poorly put together unknown 7/8" -50 caliber kit gun. Basically it's a barrel, and a very poor caplock action, mounted into a piece of firewood. waiting to be re-done into something useful.
I would really like to get one of the Left hand Gemmer Flintlock Hawken kits.
Also I have been casting bullets for 35+ years , and currently also reload for my Marlin, and Henry lever action rifles.
