I have a chance to pick up a New Navy 36 cal. revolver and CVA 50 cal. side lock and powder horn, capper, powder. All for $175.00
Don't know much about the revolver and or what these are going for?
They are NOT new, they are older models.
Any information would help.

Man says they are excellent condition. The CVA pistol was a kit, the man did a great job? We'll see? I will try get pictures later? I have not been around forum for a while don't remember how to post? :hmm:

CVA kentucky pistols in average shape are going for about $110 on the online auctions. Right now there seems to be a bumper crop for sale. A colonial pistol, even less. A Navy Cap and Ball revolver could be an orphan make with no possibility of getting replacement parts. May have a ring from cylinder being spun,. may have mashed nipples from dry firing. A set of ampco nipples will set you back $30-35 A Palmetto remmie repro is near hopeless once parts are needed. They felt gritty inside when new.

Could be a like new Uberti and a steal

The CVA in the bottom pic is the Kentucky pistol, I have one in kit form that I bought at a show years ago that I am just now getting around to assemble. (It was missing parts, and before the auction sites were around but after CVA stopped making them). Hopefully yours is a good shooter. Make good smoke with them.

Appears the Remy alone would be worth the money
and the CVA would be free.
