ask him to post a pic of Loomzilla!!!!!!! a home made inkle loom he built to his own design, thing is a monster, but... it allows him to really crank down on the weaving to get that tight a strap, the thing does an amazing job! it's actually a pretty cool set up!

 Nice! Soggy gave me plans last year to build an inkle loom, but I ain't got around to it yet... I really like that top one!

The Story, I started weaving to take up sometime. I love to shoot but couldn't find a any clubs or shoots to participate in in Nevada. One day I ran into a black-powder shoot and it was all over. I have Cerebral Palsy on my right side and am ate -up with arthritis so when I started putting my out-fit together a good friend of mind suggested I start weaving

My first loom was a small table loom and I had to do everything by hand and that hurt. My first straps were woven loose. My mentor showed me by pulling them apart. So I went to work on building my floor loom. It was a four mouth project. I made some modifications on this loom so people with disabilities like myself can weave and do a good job. Because of my unique design my straps are the tightest straps around............I can weave a strip 6in wide and 30feet long also. Here is a pic of my floor loom.

Sir,8/4 cotton, linen is 6 times the cost and I have only do one wool strap to date.8/4 cotton works well the colors are great

Absolutely awesome work, and that floor loom is outa sight. I've got a tabletop loom, and things get pretty "creaky" by the time I get everything tight enough for my tastes. And it's still nowhere near as tight as yours. Great idea to start weaving, unbelievable work on that loom, and great followthrough to stick with it for so long. Sincere hats off!!!! :hatsoff:

Brown Bear,

Thank you for the kind words. This weaving has been a blessing it gives me the opportunity to be creative and the opportunity to be in the game.

I have gotten to met a lot of wonderful people and as it’s turned out one of these people is now my best friend and was the best man in my wedding this last August.

I owe the folks in the muzzleloader family a great deal for their support and encouragement they have given to me in the last two years.

Lynn, that's an awesome loom you made. Great job and love to see great craftsmanship. I wanted to look over your website, but seems I can't get to it. Is it off air? I want to talk to you about getting one of your straps that I want to use with a hunting bag I'm working on. Something in the 1 1/4 in width and about 60 in long or so.
Just to let you know in advance I'm due for heart surgery on the 10th and will most likely stay in the hospital at least a week. Just like changing tires they say. I have to miss hunting this year, but the future sure looks rosy.
Let me know if you have anything like that in inventory or ???.
Keep up the great work on your strapping. They look awesome!
Gary
