Checking in from central Illinois. Got a flintlock Kentucky pistol (I think it's a home build, because it's a Pedersoli barrel, but the lock doesn't look like what I see on other Pedersoli Kentuckies) and just shot it last weekend, now I'm looking for a flint rifle to pair with it.
Not sure if I want a Kentucky rifle, or a musket, but I'm planning on getting a flintlock long-gun before the year is out.
Looking forward to learning a bunch about these guns, and how to best use them.

We have all been new to something at one time or other. Welcome, and pull up a stump and rest a spell. A lot can be learned here and it's a good place to share knowledge that you have. The fire is warm, The friendships can last a lifetime ( though the coffee could be better ).Enjoy and remember to keep your head down. Vern
