New to Group

I have joined the group today. Now that I am retired, I have been revisiting my old hobbies, including target shooting. My interst in cap and ball revolvers goes back to my teen years and the 1961-65 Centennial of the Civil War. I recently purchased my first revolver, a Pietta Navy Model 1851 (.36 cal.) and I am looking forward to going to my rod and gun club's pistol range to try it out. A major reason for joining this forum is that I hope to learn more about BP shooting, and its many related activities. I look forward to participating in this forum.

Welcome :thumbsup: Speaking of the Civil War, I just watched a marathon beginning to end, of "North and South". Lots of interesting things to see in that mini series.
