Hi all,
I’m new to muzzleloading. I like things that are old. I’ve hunted with a traditional bow for years but decided to add a flintlock to my portfolio. I live in Brantford Ontario.

I just posted a question regarding powder. Up here it’s hard to find black powder other than ffffg and fg.

Looking forward to learning a lot about flintlocks!

Thanks for the welcome everyone!

Nit Wit, will crushing the 1f with a spoon really work?
What caliber is your gun? If it's a bigger bore the fg may work just fine. Black is pretty forgiving in everything except the availability and fouling departments..... I wouldn't try fg in my .32 but I would dump it in a .50 if that's all I had.
