Longbow26 here saying hellow. Been a flintlock shooter for 15 years. My first was a Lymann great plains 54 cal flint lock. Last year perchased a pedersoli 50 cal flint lock pistol. Last year also perchased my first smoth bore flint lock. I lucked out and got ahold of this guy befor he put the rifling in the american lancaster rifle and he made it into a 54 cal smoth bore for me, and omited instaling the rear sight. Thouhg the barel is only 44" long it shoots nicly.

My curent quest in life is finding some one who makes a side by side flint lock shoot gun/Fowler. I only ahve use of my left arm and been shooting a right sided flint lock for 15 years a side by side flint lock wont be an ishue.
A freind told me of this sight as a posible way of finding a manufacterer who makes side be sides flints.

I use my black powder guns for hunting deer and terky, target practice and competing in rendezvouses.
