Eureka!!
I been looking around for a jug-choked smoothbore for turkey hunting, and I found one. :winking:
It's an English fowler with a 36" Colerain barrel, Chambers Virginia flintlock, and a curly maple stock.
I'm gonna make a road trip to Mr. Tip Curtis' shop in Cross Plains, TN one day this week and pick it up.

If you haven't been to Tip's place, you need to plan on at least two hours there. Also you will need a drool towel, maybe two. It's an experience you won't soon forget. You're also gonna wonder why he doesn't have an internet site.
Have a fun trip, and don't forget the towels :rotf:

Bill, I stopped by Tip's place last Fall and bought a .40 flinter half stock from him. I stayed over 2 hours, and that's because I was on a trip and I was in a hurry. :haha:
I'm looking forward to the visit almost as much as I am the gun. I know why he doesn't have a website...because he's doing perfectly fine without one. :winking:
I don't need a towel. My beard will catch most of the slobbers.
