The weather outside is frightfull, 11 degrees, 10 to 15 mph winds and snowing. So no hunting today. Did a lot of my honeydews yesterday. So being bored I thought I would make a Colonial Wallet today. Found this piece of 3 to 4 oz. leather and a picture. So here it is.

Well, it is a dandy looking wallet. What are you going to carry in it? :hmm:

Not bad for an early attempt.

One thing I found that makes it easier to keep the money or other things like business cards in place is reverse the opening of the pouch that is closest to the draw strap. IOW, the opening end of both interior pouches face each other. That way money and smaller cards are held in by both the bent leather between them AND the outer flap. Doesn't mean you have to do it that way, though.
