Winter shoot February 10th and 11th
25 yards --- novelty targets, steak shoot & hard time given to all. Small awards given, bacons, ham, turkey always a medallion for the winter Ronny.

Come in Friday night the 9th and stay in the club house.
Bring a dish to pass--- we always have plenty of food and goodies.

Elbridge Gun Club is located on Laird Rd. just south of RT 31 and Interstate 90.
Take Weedsport exit off @ Rt 90 head east thru town of Jordan maybe 5 miles. You will pass a carved eagle on a rock next road to the right is Laird road.
From Syracuse/Baldwinsville Same Rt 31 except head west this time.
Here is pic from 04` it was -10 deg out.

Just look at the clear blue sky, clam no wind you could not ask for a nicer day!

I'm gonna have to check my schedule, don't know what's going on then. Is ther a charge, or just the dish to pass and goodwill?

I'm south of you a ways (down by the PA border), but might make the trip up.

-10, you say? Maybe it'll be a touch warmer this time around...

They have burgers and such to purchase..but friday night is usually a pot luck dinner.
I always leave a ten spot to cover my coffe & water for the weekend.
Breakfast is like 3.00- all day coffee 2.00..
I'll probably make a beaver stew for Saturday.

Shooting fees are really inexpensive. 3.00 to enter 1.00 or $2 for each event. Re-shoots .50 in the past.

We have 2 or 3 vendors also and maybe a few selling odds and ends.

This will be my 6th winter event I sure wish we had more like this a little closer to home.

Bpb,
Having never attended a blackpowder shoot, I have some general questions...
- are there different classes (Flint, smoothbore, etc)?
- How many shots per round?
- What events are on what days?
- Restrictions? (sights, PRB Only, etc...)
- What time in the morning does the "noise" start?
I shoot Highpower at Camillus so your club only adds a few miles to my trip. I would at least like to attend and check out the events.
Thanks in advance
Bob

I can vouch for the fun on the woodswalk. We had a great time this past fall while taking a large amount of verbal abuse on the woodswalk. It was mostly from my pards that came with me. A few easy targets and some real hard targets, lots of fun for all involved. Everyone should go to the club and give it a try. Thanks for all the fun at the Fall shoot guys.

well im counting down the days just a week away think its going to be a cold one as always, as to answer your question its prb 5 roundns per target there is a flintlock cat in the summer shoots but i dont think theres one at the winter shoot ther arnt many of us that are shooting them their most shoot whimplocks , One more thing we start shooting bout 9 , If i left anything else let me know Art
