Zonie, if this post is in the wrong spot or incorrect format let me know and I will have you delete it and I can redo it. I had several of the identical item and wasn't sure if I should post them all separately or as one ad.

I have a few NIB Pietta 1851 Navy Yank .44 cal spare cylinders available. I was going to use them on my 51 .44 cal as spares on the bench or to carry in belt pouches but have sold the revolver that they fit so I don't need them now. These are a drop in for the Pietta 51 yanks in .44 cal either the full length barrel or the Avenging Angel style snubbies. They will NOT fit Euroarms but should be OK in Traditions. If in doubt measure the overall length of your cyl and I'll put a digital caliper on one to see. They have the safety pins on the back and all have a full set of nipples. I've bought new cylinders before and had to buy nipples on top of that. I would like $50 each plus shipping which is about half of what they sell for when you can find them. I can do Paypal plus the fees as a discreet transaction or I take US Postal Money Orders. If you need information let me know by post, message, or email and I'll help you the best that I can.

Thankfully a couple of forum members pointed out that Cabelas has their brand of cylinders for $40. I should add some pictures to show that these are high quality, roll engraved, with safety pins, and not plain cylinders like the cheapies that Cabelas/Bass Pro is selling. I'll add some pics to show some better details. It was an over sight on my part. These cost a lot more than what I'm asking for them.

Here are a couple of photos of the cylinders. I thought they were pretty decent quality. I'll let it ride for a day or two as I started digging around this afternoon I found a new in box Pietta snubbie with birds head grips on it which I thought I had sold as a pair with another one. These are the cylinders that I specifically bought for the snubbie. I do get lucky every now and then.

I tried them in Euroarms which I had available and ASM with no luck. The replacements are longer than the originals. They did fit fit in Traditions and Piettas. You can pretty close measurement wise if you set the cylinder with the nipple side on a hard surface and then lay a flat edge across the top and measure the distance with an inexpensive machinists rule that is graduated in 1/100th's of an inch. Or if that fails run it by a local machine shop and have them measure it with a micrometer for you. They probably wouldn't charge you anything to do that for you.

Badgerfarm, I would be interested in buying one from you. How should I go about arranging this with you? Thanks.

Thanks Putterboy2,
The total with shipping if you are in the lower 48 would be $57.95.

I can take Paypal friends and family or add 3.5% to cover the Paypal fees or a US Postal Service Money Order whichever you prefer. I'll start a private conversation so we can work out the details. Look at the upper right hand corner of the page where the envelope is and you can let me know how you prefer to send the money. Let me know if you have any problem finding my message to you.

Hi Jeff,
Yes, it is a confirmed fit for a Pietta 1860 Army and has the proper naval battle scene roll engraved on it. I'll send you a private message for the details.

jeffb, I started a private conversation for the payment details.

So these cylinders will fit the 51/Navy in 44 cal. or the 1860 Army. So far Pietta and Traditions are the only confirmed fit.

I only have 5 left.

Jeffb, would you please repost your address here for me? There is a unit 2D in the email and I don't know where it goes. Should it read like this?
10238 Southwest Highway
Unit 2D
Chicago Ridge, IL 60415 or with the Unit 2D somewhere else. The email showed that the Unit 2D went between Illinois and the zip code. Can this be right? I don't want to ship this to the wrong address. This is very confusing.
